Florence: discovering the Oltrarno

Florence: discovering the Oltrarno

Let's go and discover the Florentine Oltrarno, that area between Borgo San Frediano and Borgo Santo Spirito, a treasure chest of the most authentic Florence.

The area is rich in places of interest, picturesque squares and alleyways, old workshops, and typical little cafes. Florence's Oltrarno is the ideal neighborhood for those seeking the true Florentine atmosphere.
The Quartiere Diladdarno, as it's called in Florence, is the area of the city located on the left bank of the Arno River. It's a lively and authentic neighborhood that tells the story of the real Florence.
You can reach the Oltrarno area on foot from Santa Maria Novella station, going via Maso Finiguerra and Ponte Vespucci, or by arriving directly by car via Porta Romana.
On the other side of the Ponte Vecchio, in the entire area south of the Florentine bridge, we rediscover the true Florentine spirit and discover charming views and less chaotic streets.
